TOPIK Overview
The Test of Proficiency in Korean (한국어능력시험) is the standard Korean language test recognized for university admission, employment, and visa applications.

Test Schedule
TOPIK is held approximately 6 times per year in Korea. Registration opens about 2 months before each test date through topik.go.kr. Slots fill quickly — register on the first day.
Registration Steps (In Korea)
- Create an account on topik.go.kr
- Log in during the registration period
- Select your test center and upload a photo
- Pay the fee (₩40,000 for TOPIK I, ₩55,000 for TOPIK II as of 2025)
- Print your admission ticket before the test date
KIIP (Korea Immigration & Integration Program)
KIIP (사회통합프로그램) is a free Korean language and culture program run by the Ministry of Justice. Completing KIIP gives you advantages for visa extensions and permanent residency.
