Why Verification Fails & How to Fix It

The number one reason foreign residents encounter identity verification errors is name formatting mismatch between the carrier database and immigration record.

• Match Name Exactly: Last Name First Name order, exact capital letters and spaces (e.g. SMITH JOHN ADAM).
• Carrier Type: Ensure you select MVNO (알뜰폰) vs Major Carrier (SKT/KT/LGU+) correctly in PASS app.
• Residence Card Status: Physical card must be active with updated address registered at immigration.
• MVNO Opening: Provide physical Residence Card copy when subscribing to budget SIM plans.
